What kind of problems do I solve ?
I solve a variety of IT challenges, from security risks to operational inefficiencies:
Reducing unnecessary costs: IT services can be costly if not properly managed. I analyze contracts with service providers to identify unnecessary expenses and negotiate better deals, ensuring an optimized IT budget while maintaining service quality.
Fixing complex IT issues: I handle technical challenges such as troubleshooting critical system failures, ensuring stable IT operations, and managing smooth migrations to modern cloud-based solutions.
My goal is to keep systems running efficiently with minimal downtime.
Improving project execution: Some projects stall or lose direction due to poor planning or communication gaps. I step in to streamline processes, ensure clear objectives, and align teams so that projects stay on track and meet deadline.
Preventing security breaches: Since 95% of cybersecurity incidents result from human error (World Economic Forum), I focus on prevention. I conduct internal audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide regular training to employees, ensuring they adopt best security practices to protect company data.
Leading and managing teams: A strong team is key to success. I create a motivating and structured work environment, ensuring that employees are supported, engaged, and aligned with the company’s vision.
As an IT Manager in a 5-star hotel, I have successfully led high-impact, business-critical projects. These include the migration of our central property management system from an on-premise infrastructure to a secure, cloud-based solution, as well as the preparation and coordination of a major upgrade to the hotel’s global telephone system. This latter project required over a year of planning, involving multiple stakeholders such as technology vendors, hotel ownership, and executive leadership.
I also oversaw the transition of our credit card payment system to the cloud, a project that demanded deep knowledge of secure payment technologies and compliance standards.
I specialize in resolving complex problems rapidly and effectively to maintain the highest standards of luxury service for guests, VIPs, business groups, and internal teams. This includes managing critical incidents such as cyberattacks affecting hotel operations or major power outages requiring immediate, decisive action.
Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, I actively engage with experts to deepen my knowledge of cybersecurity and economics as part of my studies in Cybersecurity and IT Management.
Additionally, my experience as a firefighter has taught me to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Whether navigating through a burning apartment just meters from the flames or making critical decisions under pressure.
